Ashley Drive Met Station

This s an amateur weather station operated from my garden

The equipment used is a Fine Offset WH1080.

Outdoor sensors include:

• Anemometer - Wind Speed and Direction
• Temperature
• Humidity
• Rainfall
• Pressure

The WH1080 feeds data to a Raspberry Pi running Cumulus MX software.

The weather data is uploaded to my hosted site every 10 minutes

The same Raspberry Pi also has a Camera attached which takes photos of the current conditions as seen from my garden.

These are uploaded to my hosted site every 30 minutes.

The Cumulus software also sends weather data to the following public weather services

• UK Met Office  (WOW service)
• Weather Underground
• PWS
• Open Weather Map
